University of the People

University of the People is a phenomenal university that offers Tuition Free Degrees! Not Free but Tuition-Free. However, each courses does have a fee of around $160, making the degree around $2500 - $3500 IF you transfer over half your degree using ACE Credits. An American Bachelor's Degree for $3500? We're talking legitimate steal here, absolute value.

Non-Profit and Fully Accredited:

University of the People is Non-Profit and recently Regionally Accredited about a year ago. Regional Accreditation is what matters and University of the People is accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).

Becoming my Favorite:

This University is right up there for me along with WGU and TESU (I'm a WGU and TESU Grad) and honestly.. it's starting to become my favorite of the three (shhhh!). I think this may be the new Western Governors University, with its own twists of course.

Courses:

The courses at University of the People are not overly challenging but not easy either, the absolute perfect balance at the undergraduate level. You WILL learn and you will get these courses passed with enough effort.

How Long to Complete a UoPeople Degree?

How long does a University of the People Degree take? If you complete the Major Mash Transfer Spreadsheets, they take about 12 Months once you are done with the ACE Credits. As you can take 12 Credits every 10 weeks. Yes, you can have a very legitimate Bachelor's Degree in just 12 Months, and for only around $2500 - $3500.
